This home was designed by KWK Promes and is appropriately entitled, “The Safe House”. KWK Promes stated that their clients wanted the most essential features and the overall atmosphere of the home to convey maximum security. This concrete home is as secure a home as you will find in the market. The concrete structure actually folds up into itself. The home is complete with a pool and many high-tech amenities.

The home’s only entrance is on the second story and can be accessed by a drawbridge. When the house folds up, the drawbridge is raised and all windows and doors are covered by thick, concrete slabs. Basically, whether you are human or a zombie it would be impossible to access the interior of the home. It is safe to say that the designers of the home gave their clients the maximum security they were looking for.

2012 is inching closer and this is one family that does not have to worry about the possibility of an impending Zombie Apocalypse.
