Outdoor Entertaining

Summer is the perfect time to invite guests over and enjoy the weather. If you have a patio table and chairs you’re set! There are so many different activities that you can do when having an outdoor get together, both for the kids and adults.

Yard games are always a big hit! Horseshoes, ladder-golf, badminton and much more! Everyone can enjoy these types of games and just let loose and have fun!

No get together is complete without food. Get everything ready prior to the get together, stock up on charcoal and propane for the grill so it’s all set. The last thing you want to be doing when guests begin arriving is running around the house looking for items that you need. The food doesn’t have to be anything fancy, you want your guests to be able to move around while enjoying the food. Burgers and hot dogs are always a hit, have a couple bags of chips with some dips, fruits/vegetables, and of course dessert. Don’t worry about fancy dinnerware, papers plates and plastic silverware will suffice and are an easy clean-up.

Beverages are served throughout the entirety of the get together, so to make it easy for guests.  Fill up some coolers with drinks and label each cooler with the types of drinks inside.

What about those pesky mosquitoes? Having a fan run near the dining area will help keep the bugs away along with keeping your guests cool with a nice breeze. Also to be extra careful we got a gutter guards to ensure that there is no exposed water to breed. To be on the safe side have a bottle of insect repellent available for guests to use, along with sunscreen if the get together is earlier in the day/evening.

After the meal the festivities can begin! Fires are always a good way to get everyone conversing. With a fire you can roast marshmallows, play games, or just sit around and talk! It’s the perfect way to just relax.

The purpose of having an outdoor get together is to have fun, forget about work and just enjoy the company. They are easy to plan and a good way to enjoy your own backyard with friends.
