Fall is officially here, and with fall comes Downtown Appleton’s annual Octoberfest! Octoberfest is a great way to kick off the fall season. This weekend, September 27th & 28th, hosts this year’s Octoberfest. People from all over the Fox Cities wait all year for Appleton’s largest block party and who can blame them? The event has all day entertainment, arts & crafts, great food, drinks and much more!

Octoberfest starts off with a classic car show, License to Cruise, that begins at 6 p.m. on Friday night. Amongst the nearly 400 classic cars there will be live music performances and of course, amazing food! Then come on out Saturday to enjoy one of the most anticipated events of the year. Entertainment starts as early as 9 a.m. and goes until 6 p.m.

One of the best parts of Octoberfest is the large variety of food. With over 100 vendors there is sure to be something for everyone! There is everything from bakery sweets to ethnic foods, and everything in between. The mouthwatering food continues to be a central focus of Octoberfest along with the live music, but over the years other aspects of the event such as; the family fun area and the arts & crafts vendors, have evolved as well. 

This event is a great way to come down and support the community while having some fun! All of the profits that Octoberfest brings in are used to help support community charities, projects and events through the Octoberfest grant fund.
