Cypress Homes Makes Donation to Children’s Wisconsin

On March 12, 2020, Mike Blank and Cypress Homes team presented a check for $5,300 to Children's Wisconsin.  Children's Wisconsin is a children's hospital system specializing in the health and wellness for children in need of medical care. The money donated by Cypress Homes will go specifically to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located in Neenah.

In 2018, Cypress Homes pledged to donate $100 to the Children's Wisconsin for every new Cypress home built and sold. In early 2019 Cypress donated $4,300 based on the prior year sales, and committed to continuing the pledge in 2019. "2019 turned out to be one of our best years ever, which allows us to increase our donation to Children's Wisconsin this year," said Greg Drusch of Cypress Homes. "We want to thank all of our wonderful homeowners and team members who helped make this possible."

Choosing to donate to the NICU at Children's Wisconsin was an obvious decision, as it holds personal sentiment to the team at Cypress. Mike Blank's oldest daughter, Lucy, was born premature and spent her first 120 days of life in the NICU in Neenah's hospital. She was able to finally go home because of their caring and exceptional staff ensuring that she went home healthy. Ever since then, the children's hospital has held a special place in Mike and his family's hearts because they nurtured and cared for the most precious thing in their lives, the life of their child.

Donations like these help the NICU and hospital to continue to provide exceptional care by attaining the most advanced technology possible and treating more young patients, so that they can live healthy and fulfilling lives.

Cypress Homes is proud to continue this pledge in 2020. You can read more about Cypress' partnership with Children's Wisconsin's at: https://callcypresshomes.com/about-us/cypress-community-support/
