Add Flare to Your Kitchen with a Backsplash

Backsplashes have always done a great job of protecting the wall behind your counters but they are now becoming a popular trend to add a little flare to your kitchen.  At Cypress Homes, we are building custom backsplashes into many new homes to give each kitchen a creative and unique feeling.  Here are some pictures of our backsplashes as well as some information if you are considering adding or remodeling a backsplash in your kitchen.

Karalyn House

Here is a tile backsplash in our Karalyn House. This random vertical tile theme fits perfectly with the Arts & Crafts design of our Karalyn House.  This backsplash, surrounded by a brick-tiled wall, will be extremely durable throughout time with this ultimate stove.

Mulberry

Here is another tile backsplash in one of our Mullbery condos in The Cottages at Lake Park.  We don’t force our customers to sacrifice on benefits when it comes to condos.  This tile backsplash over a modern stovetop is a perfect example of that.  This photo shows just how creative you can get when it comes to backsplashes.

Ridgewood

The horizontal tiles in this backsplash add to the modern theme of our Ridgewood model in Greenville.  The backsplash also contrasts with the granite countertops to make this kitchen unique.  All three backsplashes here have been tile, which is by far the most common choice in backsplashes, but tile does not limit you; you can choose from glass, ceramic, stone, brick, or metal tiles to protect your walls.  If you aren’t interested in tiling you can even choose paper or plastic backsplashes.  These options can save you money upfront but have a much shorter product life.
