## **Location**

[Menasha](http://www.cityofmenasha-wi.gov/content/community/index.php) is located on the north west shore of Lake Winnebago in the Fox Cities, near Highway 41 making it easy to travel to Oshkosh or Green Bay.

## **Economy**

There are several large companies located in Menasha and employ many people in the Menasha area. ## **Education**

The [Menasha Joint School District](http://www.mjsd.k12.wi.us/) serves most of the residents of Menasha. The school  
district is made up of 5 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. Also, the [Twin City Catholic Educational System](http://www.tcces.org/) serves this area. Menasha is also home to [UW-Fox Valley](http://www.uwfox.uwc.edu/).

## **Government**

The mayor of the City of Menasha is Don Merkes. There is also a [common council](http://www.cityofmenasha-wi.gov/content/government/common_council/index.php) made up of eight different aldermen that serve the different districts of the city. *
