A Custom Take on Our Popular Avalon Plan

Written by Greg Drusch | May 10, 2019 5:00:00 AM

Here’s a great example of how someone can take one of our most popular designs and customize it to fit their style:

custom curb appeal

The Avalon plan has excellent curb appeal regardless of which exterior finishes you choose. The homeowners teamed up with our interior designer and decided to combine cultured stone, white vertical siding, granite colored shakes, and charcoal shingles to give this home a uniquely charming look.

Custom Hearth Room

The Avalon plan is an open-concept ranch home with 3 bedrooms (split bedroom), and 2.5 bathrooms – the homeowners didn’t make many changes to the floor plan – However, they did want to customize the hearth room and add a covered porch off the back. At Cypress Homes, all of our plans are completely customizable so we thought this was an excellent modification.  The large stone fireplace and vaulted, reclaimed wood ceiling make the space feel rustic and welcoming!

Open-Concept kitchen

This kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a white stone backsplash. The large island easily seats 4.  An open-concept design between the kitchen, dining, and great room is great for entertaining! At Cypress Homes we love having an open-concept layout, but also want to have defined spaces; simple changes to flooring and archways or ceiling style creates the perfect balance!

Master Suite

The master suite includes a cathedral ceiling in the bedroom, huge walk-in closet, and a luxurious bathroom! The bathroom boasts a double vanity with granite, plenty of cabinet space, privacy with a pocket door, and a beautiful tile shower!

This ranch floor plan is just one of the homes Cypress Homes can build. All of our floor plans can be previewed on our website. We even have a virtual tour for this floor plan. Take a look and start deciding what type of finishes and customizations you would make to your dream home!
