Three covered entry porches and tapered columns give the Cedar Key an old-world feel. The floor plan provides a mix of social and private areas. The first floor features a formal dining room or study, which can be closed off by elegant French doors. The gourmet kitchen connects to the formal dining room as well as a sunny dining area, and opens to the great room. The oversized great room has a large bank of windows to let in plenty of natural light, plus a fireplace surrounded by storage. Arched doorways, hardwood floors and leaded-glass windows add to the Arts and Crafts movement feel. The large first-floor master bedroom has a generous bathroom with step-in shower, two sinks, private commode and his-and-hers walk-in closets. An open stairway leads upstairs to two more bedrooms, which share a connected bathroom with separate sink areas.
As you’ll see in our virtual tour of the Cedar Key, the lower level can be partially finished to include a fourth bedroom and full bathroom. The three-car garage has a stairway to the basement, for easy access. A door leads from the garage into the home’s large mud room, which features a powder room, wood storage lockers and closet space. The adjacent laundry room has ample cupboard space, countertop and a door to outside. All Cypress homes are Wisconsin ENERGY STARĀ® Homes. |
