Q. What locations do you build custom homes in?
A. We build custom homes in much of Wisconsin. The custom homes and condos we build are traditionally within 100 miles of the Fox Valley. This range includes Green Bay, Door County, Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, Appleton, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Stevens Point, and more Wisconsin locations.

A. We can build custom homes of all sizes. Anywhere from under 1,000 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft. or more! Discuss your needs and design plans with a Cypress representative for more information.
Q. How long does it take for you to build a custom home?
A. The time line for each custom built home we build is different due to the size and complexities involved. The Sagemore, a popular Dimensions line home, is usually finished in between 60 and 90 days.
Q. Will my custom home be done on time?
A. Cypress Homes has an excellent track record for completing custom new homes on time. In fact, 97% of our homes are finished on schedule. From time to time there are small issues involving Wisconsin weather, suppliers, or materials that can delay a home’s construction. In the unlikely event of this, we will keep you informed on the progress of your home’s construction every step of the way.
Q. Can I do some of the work myself?
A. Absolutely. If there is any part of the building process you wish to do yourself, or have done by someone you know, just bring it up during the planning stage and we will work it out. We refer to these options as our “Sweat Equity” program.

A. Cypress Homes has lenders available to do pre-qualifications, which will help you determine payments and costs. It’s helpful to review your monthly expenses to determine how much you can afford to spend per month on your mortgage, taxes, insurance, and maintenance.

Q. What happens if something goes wrong after I build a custom home and move in?
A. Each home built by Cypress Homes comes with a written warranty from the builder. Cypress Homes backs its warranty with outstanding customer service. We understand that customer service doesn’t end when the construction does. For the first year after your new home is constructed, Cypress Homes will contact you periodically to address any issues. Of course, help is always available by phone, email, or the warranty page on the website.
Q. How can I personalize my new home if it is already built?
A. Cypress Homes offers custom basement finishing, garage finishing and more when you build or buy a new Cypress Home.
Q. What are the advantages of living in a Cypress Homes Condo?
A. Cypress condo living means you don’t have to worry about anything outside your walls. Cypress Homes builds single-family condos that look and feel like individual homes. Unlike a traditional home however, you don’t have to worry about landscape and lawn maintenance or snow removal in the winter. A condominium association formed by all the Cypress condo owners elects a president to represent them.
