Q. What locations do you build in?
A. We build within roughly 100 miles of the Fox Valley. This range includes Green Bay, Door County, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Stevens Point, and more.
Q. What size homes do you build?
A. We build homes of all sizes. Anywhere from 1,000 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft. or more!
Q. How long does it take for you to build a home?
A. The time line for each home is different due to the size and complexities involved. The Sagemore, a popular Dimensions line home, is usually finished in between 60 and 90 days.
Q. Will my home be done on time?
A. Cypress Homes has an excellent track record for completing custom new homes on time. In fact, 97% of our homes are finished on schedule. From time to time there are small issues involving weather, suppliers, or materials that can delay a home’s construction. In the unlikely event of this, we will keep you informed on progress every step of the way.
Q. Can I do some of the work myself?
A. Absolutely. If there is any part of the building process you wish to do yourself, or have done by someone you know, just bring it up during the planning stage and we will work it out.
Q. How long has Cypress Homes been in business?
A. Cypress Homes has been building beautiful homes since 1994.
Q. What if I have a floor plan I already like?
A. Cypress Homes works with customers who already have custom home plan designs. In fact, we will give you a no-obligation quote of what it would cost to have Cypress Homes build your new home plan.
Q. What if I don’t know what I want?
A. A Cypress Homes professional will walk you through the entire new home design process, from helping you evaluate your needs and budget to creating a finish home floor plan. From layout to lighting, Cypress Homes will help you custom-create your personal dream home. We even have a library of house plans and designs to help you get started.
Q. How do I know how much house I can afford?
A. Cypress Homes has lenders available to do pre-qualifications, which will help you determine payments and costs. It’s helpful to review your monthly expenses to determine how much you can afford to spend per month on your mortgage, taxes, insurance, and maintenance.
Q. How do I find the right piece of land?
A. Cypress Homes will assist you in lot or land selection and help you write an offer.
Q. What happens if something goes wrong after I move in?
A. Each home built by Cypress Homes comes with a written warranty from the builder. Cypress Homes backs its warranty with outstanding customer service. For the first year after your new home is constructed, Cypress Homes will contact you periodically to address any issues. Of course, help is always available by phone, email, or the warranty page on the website.
Q. How can I personalize my new home if it is already built?
A. Cypress Homes offers custom basement finishing, garage finishing and more when you build or buy a new Cypress Home.
Q. What are the advantages of living in a Cypress Homes Condo?
A. Condo living means you don’t have to worry about anything outside your walls. Cypress Homes builds single-family condos that look and feel like individual homes. Unlike a traditional home however, you don’t have to worry about landscape and lawn maintenance or snow removal in the winter. A condominium association formed by all the condo owners elects a president to represent them.
